Calculated based on a grain density of 0.75kg/m3, and we customizes silo systems unique for you.

Our company manufacture different models hopper silos, which diameters vary from 3.67m to 12.83 m and capacity up to 2600 m³. High galvanization and perfect quality accessories obtain a longer guarantee against the puncture by corrosion. Optional steel galvanization for 275g/m2, 450g/m2, or Standard design hopper angles as 45° and 60°. It also can be manufactured according to silo diameter, stored grain features, and natural condition such as wind,seismic,snow load of the silo location.

1.Silo Roof

Our company's silo roof angle generally design 25 degree to 30 degree, which the design can assure the silo tress is best,maximum enasure the silo structure and safety. ring beams,rasial ribs with top cover panels,make silo stand up silo load, silo top construction load, even the harshest environment of extreme snow load etc.


2.Stiffeners

Our company's high tension outside stiffener profiles, strengthen whole silo body structure, make silo stand well even under extreme environments. All the stiffeners are totally galvanized,ensure no rusting over time.


3.Wind rings

Wind rings are used to increase the strength of silo, for tall silos or those silo location with strong wind, the wind rings can effectively strengthen the silo bearing, assure silo solid and safety.


4.High Strength Bolts

Our company use 8.8/10.9 grade high strength galvanized boltes, paired with nuts, sealing washers,cooperatively use sealing gum between steel plates,ferfectly assure t Hopper Bottom Silo sealing and solidity.


5.Manhole

Steel silos manhole is offered with two pieces. First is utilized to access from roof, the other generally locate on second bottom ring to make the worker enter into for grain residual cleaning or maintenance operations.


6.Ladder System & Rest Platforms

Silo inside and outside ladder and rest platforms are produced completely in modular form by painted or galvanized sheets. The silo external safety ladder with cages enables workers to reach roof safely.


7.Wide Flange Ring-Beam Support Structure

Bracing system is designed for a maximum support to whole silo load especially with consideration of wind and seismic requirement. If the silo diameter≥10m, two rings of support structure needed.


8.Hopper Bottom

Our company assured solid hopper bottom silo structure with strengthened ring beam, supporting legs, tie pieces. All these parts strengthen the heavy silo hopper load and whole silo structure.


9.Supporting Legs

The silo supporting legs with tie pieces, by using high strength H steel, the silo supporting legs quantity varies from the hopper silo capacity.
Hopper Bottom Steel Silo 30° Silo Roof 45°Hopper Bottom Height of silo bottom outlet flange is based on silo project specific situation. Silo volume is the sum of silo roof, silo body and silo hopper bottom. Capacity is calculated at 0.75t/m3 bulk material density.
